My Tuesday's Top 10... Foods I Miss

Since I got my braces I've not been able to eat certain foods. What annoys me the most is when some one else has braces to and I have to sit there watching a food that we shouldn't be eating. But anywho, that's their and their parants' decision. So first I'm going to list the top 10 then I'll list the rest.

1. Gum
2. Caramel
3. Pizza crust
4. Peanut brittle
5. Pretzels
6. Taffy
7. Gummy candy
8. Dried fruits
9. Hard Candy
10. Corn Chips

Popcorn                                Eat with Care
Nuts                                     Carrot sticks - If they're cut into curls it's OK but no biting
Ice (chewing)                        Apples - Again, no biting but if sliced into small wedges it's fine
Corn-on-the-cob                  Hard Breads (French) - small pieces and chew carefully
Licorice                                Pizza - Small bites (.  .  .) and avoid eating the crust :.(
Fruit Cakes                          Meats - mini bites (suure) and chew carefully
Fruit Roll-Ups                      Crackers and biscuits - again small peices and chew carefully
                                            Peanut Butter - Only soft (thank goodness!!)

What they say about the Hard Foods:
"Hard Foods may do damage by bending wires, loosening cement under the brackets and bands or breaking the little brackets and tubes which have been attached."

Sticky Foods:
"Sticky Foods damage appliances by bending wires and pulling brackets or bands loose."
